Where we will look
Established mining jurisdictions
The Company is seeking to identify and acquire assets across the full life-cycle of a mine in more established mining jurisdictions within Europe, Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, targeting areas that have more attractive mining investment frameworks.
- Gold opportunities, together with associated minerals occurring within the same deposit or mineralised system, which may include base metals
- Operating assets or development-stage assets with identified Mineral Resources that provide a credible pathway to operational cashflow within a five-year time horizon
- Early-stage exploration opportunities where there is a compelling opportunity to create value within a reasonable timeframe
- The more established mining jurisdictions within Europe, Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, being areas where the Management Team can leverage its experience and networks
Investment strategy
Generating value from acquisitions
The Board and Management Team intend to use their extensive collective experience and successful track records to identify acquisitions that can generate value through development and/or operational enhancements and/or, where there is a compelling opportunity to create value within a reasonable timeframe, exploration.
Asset management
The Company would work to optimise and/or expand existing production assets through technical evaluation, operational improvement, further exploration on producing assets to expand the resource base and project implementation; and/or advancing projects through their development phases and into production.
Asset development
The Company would develop an internal capacity to advance projects through their pre-operational phases and into production.
Cash generation
The initial focus will be on operating assets or development opportunities with identified Mineral Resources that support a pathway to operational cashflow within a <5-year time horizon.
